GaGa`s song for newly weds
POP weirdo LADY GAGA serenaded a couple in a pub after finding out they had just wed, it emerged last night.
Backpackers Ewan and Julie Searle, both 25, were celebrating with a drink when the kind-hearted chart-topper arrived by chance.
Julie said: "It was unbelievable. We were toasting our future by drinking champagne and beer with some guys we met in the hostel we were staying at.
"Then Lady GaGa, dressed in this fabulous cerise dress, came in with her entourage. She stood at the bar and ordered a drink for everyone."
The 24-year-old singer - whose hits include Poker Face and Bad Romance - asked the New Zealand couple if they were celebrating at The Raven pub in Chiswick, West London.
Julie went on: "I said, `Yes, we got married.` She said, `That calls for a song.` She asked if anyone could play the guitar. A French friend called Sam - one of the guys from the hostel - rushed back to get his.
"After he came back he spoke with her and her people and they played Gimme Shelter by the ROLLING STONES for us in the back room.
"She was really cool but her entourage stopped anyone recording it. I would have liked a reminder, but then I`m sure I`ll never forget it."
Lady GaGa - real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta - made the gesture last week. Julie said: "It was lovely of her."
